Our Heritage
McIntosh Components began in October 2025, not in a corporate workshop or a boardroom, but from a simple idea sparked by curiosity and passion. At just 16 years old, our founder started making custom metal parts for his own bike—driven by a love for riding, an interest in design, and a belief that every detail on a bike should look as good as it performs. What began as a bit of fun in a small workspace is still evolving, growing step by step into something bigger.
We’re still in that process of building, learning, and refining. Every product we create is part of that journey—an ongoing effort to develop components that don’t just work well, but genuinely enhance the riding experience. To us, a mountain bike is more than just a machine; it’s personal. That’s why we focus just as much on appearance and feel as we do on strength and performance.
Our approach is simple: listen, adapt, improve. Customer feedback plays a huge role in what we do. We pay close attention to how our products are used, what riders like, and what could be better. That input directly shapes our designs, helping us create parts that are more practical, more refined, and more in tune with real riders.
We’re aiming to play a part in pushing MTB culture and innovation forward—but we know that takes time. We’re constantly experimenting, adjusting, and finding better ways to do things. We care about quality, we value the people who support us, and we’re committed to improving with every product we release.
